Hi, I'm Claudia!
I was born in the colorful city of Puebla, just south of Mexico City, where I grew up in a lively house full of noise, laughter, and creativity. Some of my favorite childhood memories are of long summer afternoons spent in the garden with my brother and two sisters playing basketball, chasing each other, and then winding down with crayons, notebooks, and music, thanks to our clever mom who always knew how to keep us calm and inspired.
That’s really where my love for drawing began.
Years later, I followed that creative path all the way to England, where I earned my BH in Graphic Design. It was during my time there that I realized how much I loved telling stories through images.. especially for children. Since then, I have been lucky to work in children’s book illustration for over 15 years, and I still get excited every time I bring a new character or story to life.
Today, I live and work surrounded by the beautiful chaos of family life, and my two children. my hubby and my dog are a constant source of joy and inspiration. Through my work, I hope to create images that spark imagination, make little hearts smile, and help bring meaningful stories into the hands of young readers.
